Lota Realty was founded in 1976 by Joe and Wanda Wilson and moved quickly to it's present location on the northwest corner of the Plaza light--the best and busiest corner in Taos!

Judy and David Buck, the present broker-owners, joined the company in 1979 and had many successful years there as associate brokers. In 1984, we purchased the company and in 1986 we became affiliated with Coldwell Banker. The national affiliation has added greatly to our professionalism and to the real estate services we can offer a buyer or seller with an international referral base and excellent industry educational programs. In 1999, we expanded into two prime locations on the main street in town, two blocks apart.

Coldwell Banker Lota Realty has won awards for several years for the greatest number of outgoing referrals in the nation for our size company. In addition, we have had the highest per agent productivity of any Coldwell Banker office. We have consistently been a leader in the Taos market for listings sold and under contract. Our agents have the highest per person productivity of any office in Taos.
