Having grown up in a small town in upstate New York, I graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy (1961) and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (1965).

Married to my fellow broker/owner, Judy, we moved to Taos Ski Valley in 1974 with our two small daughters. We owned a ski lodge for a couple of years, then were in the bar business, and evolved into real estate in 1979.

I am the only person in the United States with the C.I.P.S. (Certified International Property Specialist), C.R.B. (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager), C.R.S. (Certified Residential Specialist), and R.R.P. (Registered Resort Professional) designations and am currently working on my C.C.I.M. (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. In addition, my 17 years of experience in Taos real estate means that I am very qualified to help you with any real estate needs in New Mexico or Colorado (where I am also licensed).

I specialize in investment properties and land development, but also enjoy skiing, golf, the arts, and the incredible ambiance of the Southwest.
